So remove the screen from the frame, remove the tab and resolder it, or leave the tab attached and just repair the broken connections ?
    Heres what I did:

Take the Pdp out of the chassis.
Place Pdp on flat hard surface, must be solid to solder with out melting anything.
Plug all ribbons back into Y buffer, leave defective one out.
Stick defective ribbon down to surface.
Use microscope and identify faulty tabs.
Reposition ribbon so that all tabs are perfectly straight.
I used a pick tool with a flat end on to scape off the mask down to the copper of the ribbon, you must scrape down to the crack and not up from it.
    Tim fresh exposed copper.
Use 1mm thick copper wire I said solder braid lol I used strands of copper wire. (Edit)
    Apply flux.
Tac one end, the the other end while going over the crack.
Flood both ends with a small amount more solder not too much as cable wont be able to flex.
Check and make sure ribbons and bridge job is properly connected.
Use ipa as it could cause analog interference.
Use silicon and coat the connections, I also put electric tap on the chassis for extra safety.
Try it out if you did it wrong most will happen is you get two lines that dont light properly.

Its a bitch to preform lol hope this helps.

Yours might be harder as you have a 1080p panel which has more nodes in the ribbon cable. Mine was 720p (less lines to be addressed due to small amount of pixels meaning less nodes) and the nodes are fairly well spaced tbh which is why I was able to preform the repair. Good thing is the ribbons are only single sided.

I originally tried this and did pretty much what Reecey said but I failed an ended up causing more damage to the ribbon cable. You know what I find really interesting on my PA 5500 is that I have another cable broken and one line is out in the middle of the screen and the TV is staying on and not shorting out that buffer chip. It doesn't matter to me cuz I use it for a shop TV anyways the backs not even on it but I find it interesting how the other buffer chip is not blowing out when its not being able to transmit one line like it did to the top chip with two lines being out
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

No worries good luck with it, its worth a go. The key tip is don't leave the iron on the ribbon for too long as it will literally melt.
