    Firmware for 55PFL6008S

    Good day everybody,

I have just bought a replacement board for a 55PFL6008S TV taken out from a 60PFL6008S. The boards are identical, and the TV boots properly with the replacement, however there is vertical fragmentation in the image, which in my experience is due to incompatible firmware.

Does anyone have a dump of 55PFL6008S or knows where one could find it?

    Thanks in advance

My suspicion is that repl. board had newer SW than original one and updated tcon SW with the file for 60" one, now if you able to change panel type in SM and able to find newer version of SW then updating the tcon returns correct, or you can force updating keeping OK button or down button with usb flash in when connectiing power plug..

Thanks for the suggestion, I just did, and seems like the TV did respond to it, but after a reboot the lines/fragmentation is still there

If you go back to the menu again where you entered the Panel ID, has it reverted to the old value?
As I recall, when you are in the "Factory mode", once you have changed the value you went in there to change, you also have to scroll down to the bottom of the list of values, which is maybe several pages long, and select EXIT_FACTORY or similar at the far end, to persist the changes to the NVM.

These all words spread in the wind without pictures of the defect, especially if both main.board and screen hit by extra tension, so probably bad panel now
