    Samsung UE55JU6800K No Picture

Samsung UE55JU6800K with no image on screen.

I have had this TV many years without fault, however aprox 6 months ago I fitted a new set of backlights as some of the lens caps had fallen off.

Was working fine, until 3 days ago, when watching TV the screen just went blank (still illuminated)
I turned the TV off and left it around 12 hours, and when turned it on again it seemed to work perfectly again. After around 45 mins the screen went blank again.
Left it off overnight and turned it on, and the Smart TV logo came on as normal, then screen went blank.

I have tried disconnecting each ribbon cable from the Tcon in turn, and disconnecting the Left makes no difference, still just blank screen. Disconnecting the right, displays the TV Image correctly on one side, and blank white screen on the other (with very faint verticle lines in the white)

    Any help grately appreciated.

The fact the tv showed defect after certain amount of decreasing time tells me probably you have a mainboard defect and now maybe both bad MB and screen, so this is a complex case, this why i suggested use of o.scope, a bad driving could ruin the screen circuitry maybe, facing such a obsucre defect only with common workarounds can last not long, it would be useful once for all times to discover the source of that very common issue, i haven't read what ends does the tv treated with masking tapes and so on, anyway since you haven't the instrument, you can use the common 3 options widely discussed in the forum, strip boards inspection 4 shorts, masking tape and last resource ripping off of tabs but if them are present..

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
                by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

Samsung UN50NU7400 - No Picture (but boot screen and screensaver)
                by arbitarytwist
Have a Samsung UN50NU7400 which shows a boot screen and a screen saver if left on long enough but no picture ?

Would a moving screen saver confirm that the panel is ok or it could still be a panel issue ?

Samsung UN65js8500F, no sound, blank screen and T-Con board with one LED on
                by mrtek
Hi I am new to this kind of repairs but I want to learn..I have a Samsung UN65JS8500F. the TV used to work and I tried to fix darker areas in the middle only ( img 1,2,3). I thought the led strip were bad..not the case. I did not research in advance what kind and where the LED were located. In this model they are located vertically on right and left side. Took the TV apart and put it back together. Now the tv shows no welcome screen and no sound is available thru the speakers. ..just a black screen..Backlight LED do turn on...also noticed a 5 blink code , not sure if that was there before. I can...

                by TR103
                Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                - sound and backlight, but no picture
                - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                - it keeps rebooting
                - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

samsung galaxy ao2s very temperamental after screen replaced
                by Chrissygizmo
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...

The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...
