Looks like a TCON to me lvds in from main board and lvds out to panel.
Without it back lights may still come on but jsut white screen or if only part bad
may show a corrupted picture colour bars or stripesPlease upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Ok, makes sense. You think this board is bad? I was able to power on tv, backlight comes on, no display, picture or menu display. Already swap out main board, that didn't do anything. Was thinking this PC board might be the culpit.Comment

I agree with Tom - I did say looks like
- however the symptoms you describe would also apply to the Tcon.
If yours is the same as this

Sorry, had not had a chance to test the PC board, will check that out this week when I have more free time. Yes, that's the tcon board that I have on my tv set. Is there only one fuse on there? I believe F11, will test for continuity.Comment

I measured the voltage on pin 35, 36 for 12V of LVDS A & B....getting both 12.6V for the pins. I also check the tcon board. It is the same one Selldoor attached a link to. 12YR_S128BMB3_4C4LV0.1, F11 fuse measured 3.1 V also.
I can see my backlight comes on, but just a black screen looking at the front of the tv screen.Comment

Sorry...measured again. Put ground lead on the tv chasis and measure my f11 fuse again.

I just noticed my F11 fuse is label at 125V @ 3A...so at a 12.6V reading, does that tell me there is not enough voltage going through?Comment

No way that T-con operates off 125V AC; the fuse is simply capable of interrupting current up to that voltage potential between open and closed circuit cases. Probably a case of that fuse being available for a low price when the unit was designed.
Also, voltage doesn't go through anything. Voltage is an energy level, similar to the concept of height, and is measured relative to a ground, like a height.

Ok, I disconnected both my ribbon cable from the panel, turn the tv back on, and my ICG1 chip just smoke and Burnt up. Bad tcon board I'm assumming?Comment

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)- TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
- Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

Hey all, want to poke the hive mind here for a technology I must be missing something critical about I can't discern from looking at spec sheets alone.
I have an ATGames Legends Pinball machine, the playfield is a 32" LCD Display. I'm trying to attach an LCD controller to it for direct PC access, as others have been successful.
The LCD is a SPLENDID CD320B01A-350 (I think it's a custom panel for ATGames as google turns up nothing), which is mated to a HV320FHB-N02 (47-6021088) T-CON board (this is probably the important component anyhow)

Hi There,
This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.
After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.
