Hi people I have a Samsung tv that is not showing a picture just the back light and it only plays the start up tune when I put a hdmi in it and play my dvd through it I get the sound out of the dvd player but no pic and it only plays the start up tune once I have put the hdmi in thanks

So post some pictures of the boards in the set. you could have a blown fuse or a bad panel (water damage, etc.)

fuse on tcon board? whats the voltage each side of it.

Only other board is one small one across the bottom with 1 ribbon into it from the screen

That is a t-con board... non replaceable though. Check if it has a fuse on it, if so, check voltage on both ends relative to chassis ground.

I can see one white fuse near the blue cable connector - test as Tom says.
There may be others you will need to check

12.12v I'm getting from ether side of the fuse

Below the post area there is a button with "Manage Attachments". Click on it, then browse for each file and click Upload.
