      Re: Bush BPDP42HD3

hi i have a small squeel. its like a transistor failure on the y sus board. my tv is exact same model as yours. picture no sound. was on when it happened. faded out then black. checks i have done as on switch on as follows are:
      VE - ysus
voltage increases and u hear the crackle of the panel switched on then the little squeel of a component and volts drop out away to 0.

      VA - ysus
does the same. voltage appears then drops out to 0vts. The tv stays on with sound present.

      the psu board
when xsus and ysus unplugged the VS voltage still drops to 0.

im stuck and ordered a ysus buffer and ysus board. going to order an xsus board aswell at some point and will fit them all at same time. ruuning low on funds right now. im now paranoid that the psu board might have a fault. but the tv stays on . so im assuming its ok. the relay clicks 2 times when its switched on. the logic board does a slow flashing sequence. when this happened out of a stab in the dark coz it was cheap i tried a new logic board but still the same. so far spent £40 on it and still to get an xsus board for it before fitting the 3 of them. Ide appreciate any help and input. right now im watching the footie on a bulky 28" crt gutted

I received a y buffer and y-sus board today. Im waiting on a x-sus board now. Ive been going thru the forum trying to accumulate as much info as I can on diagnosing this fault. When i receive the x-sus board im going to replace all 3. Can somebody help tho. Is it most likely that the psu board is fine since it switches on ok and stays on ok and doesnt trip or anything ?

Still stuck with this fault. replaced 3 boards. no gaurantee that the boards were actually good tho coming from ebay. Can i do the forced pattern test on this set with the logic board?

              Re: Bush BPDP42HD3

Got 3 working boards from same guy who was even good enough to test them on a set overnight before he sent them to me. Y buffer, ysus and xsus boards. Tv fixed now. 3 previous sellers sent me faulty boards. talk about being led up the garden path with different faults!!! This is a horrible set to work on. Pointless chasing and replacing faulty components on each board coz they sustain multiple faults usually stemming from blown fets. Best replacing the 3 WITH known working tested boards. Can watch rest of euros and Wimbledon now on a decent screen . Job done.

Help with Bush Tv (Vestel 17mb95m Mainboard)
                by FlailingEngineer
Hi, I was recently given a Bush Smart TV by a friend and the main board seems to be hanging on by a thread.

Before we get to that, my first obstacle was figuring out the model number since the back sticker has gone for a walk. Upon taking off the back case, I noticed the following Vestel parts, 17MB95m mainboard, 17IPS71 (what I'd assume is power supply) and a VES420UNVL-3D-S02 display panel. After doing some research I think the TV I have is a Bush ELED42240FHDCNTD3D, based on the matching image here (https://www.manualslib.com/manual/11...td3d.html#manu...

Need help identifying an IC chip on a Bush DAB radio (BD-1801)
                by tyler123456
                Hi,

Not sure whether anyone can help but I'm trying to identify the IC chip in the photo below.

I purchased a faulty Bush DAB radio (model # BD-1801) and identified that an IC chip was blown on it. Unfortunately, I couldn't read the manufacturer name / model number of the IC chip.

I purchased another (working) BD-1801 so that I could open it up to find out the IC details - but the IC chip details are missing (as you can see in the photo.)

Given the two huge blobs of solder either side of it I'm guessing it regulates power(?)

                Anyone...

                Bush WI-1810 Internet Radio
                by Johnny.p
I recently bought an internet radio Bush WI-1810, it came with a power supply that when plugged in promptly damaged the radio. I discovered too late that the radio was 6v and the supplied adaptor was 12v. The radio still powers on but the wifi is not working. I have attached a few pictures- Image 2 showing the board with damaged component top right labelled U8. There are several other similar components like U9 (image 3) that I'm wondering could be a replacement.
U9 has a code on it S5EJI- I have searched several smd code sites and the nearest I can find is for a mark of S5E -listing shows...

Bush LE50GY15M - Firmware needed, Please!
                by razzer05
                Hi,

I did a silly thing and tried to update the tv (Bush LE50GY15M) with a "allupgrade_6308rtbm.bin" off the internet with the same board name "T.MS6308.U701" and it now no longer works.

I have researched quite a bit since Fridays messup, I've gathered a bit of information and tried multiple "allupgrade_6308rtbm.bin" files off the internet to try and fix it.

The information I've come up with:

A possible clone of "SEIKI SE50UO01UK" with a Bush Logo

The board is as mentioned: "T.MS6308.U701"...

                BUSH DLED43IHDHDRS 17MB130S Firmware needed
                by stav242
                Hi,
                i have a BUSH DLED43IHDHDRS.
the MB - 17MB130S is not booting - it did once then wont boot again.
Suspect its the corrupt firmware issue.

Where can i find the correct firmware for this model ?
