    Samsung le37c530f1w

this tv keeps not switching on then its fine, the voltages seem fine but one thing ive noticed is that at the top of the invertor board i can hear a buzzing sound so im wondering if its the panel that is at fault ?

    Not switching on? Symptoms?

    No power light ?
    No backlight, no sound ?
Backlight, no pic, no sound ?
    Backlight, no pic, sound ?

    Checked any voltages...?
BN44-###### number from power board and pin voltage diagram can be located

Cold joints are a common issue. Also can be bad startup cap.

Many inverters do buzz in operation, but if there is a bad smell or the buzz seems intermittent, like electrical arcing, it could be the lamp wire in the screen arcing. Fixable, but you need to take panel to bits.

A buzzing sound at the top of the inverter? Is it coming from the transformer or one of the caps in the area? Doesn't sound like a bad panel.

right symptons it will go into standby occasionally after using the tv and sometimes take a few attempts to turn it on after unplugging it a few times
im testing for cold solder joints now and checking if any caps are faulty

So when faulty, power light is LIT? Does main board respond to remote, e.g. with blinking light when you press a button?

OK, start by heating parts of the power board & see if you can make it go wrong. Check power supply voltages and for any cold joints or obviously bad capacitors.
