    Any joy with getting this sorted. I have the exact same tv and it is also stuck in standby.

    I read you can hold in power for 30 seconds, disconnect power, continue holding power for 30 then reconnect power power and hold for a further 30.

    This did not work.

    I have this tv in my office and it's very versatile, got usb, DVD player etc so would be nice to fix it

    I have disassembled to it to check for any obvious pcb damage but can't see any

        No i never did sort it i used the psu in another set i think this may of been a eeprom issue have a look in this forum in the eeprom dump thread and see if any firmware matches your tv

            Hi guys, I’m back here my friend give me her tv, that doesn’t turn on and no standby red led. When u plug in the cord the red led of one two second is on, then turn off. If you push the power button or the remote the red led blinks but nothing happen. I give u some photo with voltage, don’t look the fuse….because I blow it for mistake nd I dint have the right replace so I just put it for test the tv. The standby voltage should be 11,88 volt on the diode, but I have 13 volts. I put in the photo the different volts I test and there are someone negative…I don’t know if it s normal. On...

            I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
            Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

            Hi. I have the following problem with my TV. After connecting to mains, the standby led (red) turns on, but TV is not responding to remote control or buttons on TV. After some measurements, I found out that +5 V standby voltage is present, but I dont have ON/OFF signal coming in to turn PSU on. It stays at zero volts. After looking at the schematic of the mainboard, I should get ON/OFF signal coming in at the R1402 resistor, but it stays around +3,5 V. So I removed it and I was able to turn on TV with buttons on TV, but not with remote control.

            What could be the problem ? Thanks...

            Hi everyone,
            I'm trying to troubleshoot and repair this old LG OLED curved TV, model 55EG910V.
            I did some basic troubleshooting and reviewed most related posts here, but I wasn't able to isolate the issue.

            The TV shut itself off during playback and never came back to life - the standby light remains off. My dad claims that it has happened a few times in the past but the issue resolved itself after some time. Not this one.

            After checking the basics I did the following:

            I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
