C-board -- one that runs along the bottom of plasma panel.

Yes but absolutely do not ever reconnect it with power on.

Any corrosion on the connectors from control to C-buffer boards?

Reseated the connector for that driver chip? Pictures of the C board and the connector can be highlighted, if you are having trouble.

sorry was getting it

the last pic is where the prob is on the screen each brown connector has 2 ics so its one of the middle 2

but i did re seat all the connectors to the y buffer also not sure if that changed it

Those connectors are bonded to the plasma panel. I thought they were on connectors. Didn't know Samsung did that for A-series 1080p.

Try the blue connector, if not I would have suggested C board replacement but that's a no go as it's bonded like an LCD.

iv cleaned that a few times now, i will clean the whole board connector and control board as nothing to lose so close now its worse that being a dead panel lol

cleaned all again still no change

do you think trying replacing the cable or the control board

Oddly given the failure rate of Samsung C buffers, Im going to have to say that this may in fact be a ribbon connection issue, as it looks like the image in the bar is trying to mock the data coming into the IC, usually when the IC goes bad, there will be lines within the bar or no image at all. Or worse case scenario, all white.

Go over the white ribbon cable and all pins with a fine tooth comb. Look inside the clamp connection on both boards. Look for bent pins and or any other sign of fatigue. considering he brought back 90 percent of the screen by just messing around with the ribbon cablestells me that there's probably still at that connection somewhere especially given the fact that it's trying to mock an image inside the bar

hi All

SUCCESS !!

Git rid of the lines after taking apart many times and cleaning

however it now seems to burn the screen very quickly

Ie if i turn the volume up and the boxes comes up for like 30's when you then change the screen you can still see the box

also has a redish tint around the edges

it does fade (the box not red tingh) but it seems as if the screen isnt wiping clear as quick as it should

now i want ask is this age but i cant say i have seen this before ?

its going to be very hard to get a picture of it, i hope someone knows what i mean and have seen this before

Has it got anything to do with the fact its a 2nd hand PS ?
