Power board has steady 12.1v . TV works normally for about 30 mins, then has striping at the bottom of the screen. Heat sink on the mainboard feels hot. If I turn the TV off and back on again the striping is still there. If I wait until the heat sink is cold, the TV works normally again for about 30 mins. Any help would be welcome.

It is problem with CLK data to panel, i have same issue, but i searching for scheme on bn94-16986R. Horizontal lines = CLK data problem. You can solved with tape on one of sides panel, you put tape on CLK pins or pin, but you need scheme like me or you can laborate and search with diod test on multimeter. PIN out on that flex cables what goes from Tcon desk to electronic on panel. It is full YT with manual how on that.

He doesn't have horizontal lines in the picture, for anyone wondering, _ is horizontal, | is vertical, so line going from top to bottom is vertical, line across the screen is horizontal, kind of surprising how many get that wrong or mixed up.

Removing the left 2 cables cures the striping, pic 1. Pic 2 shows what happens when just the cable with the suspected fault is left unconnected, this also cures the striping. Am I right in thinking the tape method can be used to cure the fault. If so any ideas on which pins to block.

I must have just got lucky because the striping has gone. I must have disturbed something, It has been on for an hour without the fault. I will update if anything changes.

Hopefully it was just a loose/dirty cable and re seating it has solved the issue all you can do now is keep it on test turning it on and off at time too hopefully the issue has now been resolved.
