So the TV works normal except for the tint? Did you own the TV before the problem?
Maybe, and I'm guessing, while taking it apart you could of damaged one of the panel connections causing a pink color. Or potentially it could be the LEDs, did you test the color before putting back together? If they tested white when you put them in then it's probably not the LEDs in my opinion.
But yes check the cables and look to see if any of the pins were damagedComment

by jimjoe123I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.
Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.
Then each time... -

by PipolupsHi there !
I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...10-08-2024, 11:58 AM -
by thussHi
I was after some advice. My mates panasonic 55AS802b has a pink tint to it especially noticeable on a white background.
We have ran the lcd pattern test and all the other colours are fine apart from the white which is pink.
My question is, can this be altered via the service menu through the whitebalance section r-gain g- gain etc?
Is it the lcd screen or the backlights going faulty?
from the service manual it states The test pattern is created by the circuit in LCD Panel.
In LCD Panel test mode, this test pattern... -
by tombodudeAll the whites have a pink tint, tried all the obvious stuff, different cables, different pc's, etc. Took it apart, and the power board has cheap looking caps, but no bulging or any signs of going bad. Signal board has all small caps, all look ok, usually small ones not a problem. Tried deoxing all the connections.
I don't know enough to test, but I can solder great and have repaired a lot of monitors by recapping the power board (mostly) with good Panasonic caps and sometimes the signal board since I had it out.
I can go ahead and recap the power board, but don't...-
