    E470VL Power Board Replacement/Substitute

    Hi Guys.

    I have done some troubleshooting in another thread, and attempted a repair that did not work. So now I'm to the point that I need to replace the power board.

    Problem is, I cannot find a power board from a reputable source that is in stock. I'm not sure if it's made anymore or not. My board is part number 3PCGC10016a-R. Manufacturer part number 0500-0412-1000. Everywhere I look it is out of stock.

    I have found another board that is part number 3PCGC10016c-R The pinouts are the same. The board is the same size, and has the same formfactor right down to the mounting holes. The part number is 3PCGC10016c-R. Manufacturer part number 0500-0412-1290 or 0500-0412-1360.

    Here are shopjimmy's pages for the part number, and both manufacturer part numbers.

    The only difference is, that on the power out to the main board the pins that are 5v on my board are 5.2v on the 3PCGC10016c-R. Otherwise everything looks the same. As I said, the layout is exactly the same as my board. Would that board be suitable? Will that .2v hurt my main board in any way? Also of the two boards, which one should I get, the 0500-0412-1290, or the 0500-0412-1360?

    Thanks in advance guys.

      Re: E470VL Power Board Replacement/Substitute

      hi all!

      never intended to have my very first post up here be one that resurrects a thread from the dead, but coincidentally enouh, here I am!

      That being said, it's now been four years since the original poster made the inuiry and here II am in 2017 wondering the same. Hard to find this specific part number as well as the repair kits... Ideally I would find the component that has failed and repace it, but my time is limited as well as my knowledge of smps testing. Ive read quite a few threads here and do have an oscilloscope;
      I am not getting the 12v run side voltages from my p.s. and beyond that I don't know much else to test..
      Thinking back. I actually may have gotten the 12v out when I used 2 double a batteries to supply the on signal to the board which, if it was the case then that means my power button or main board has failed, but not sure how to test the power button since all terminals on the power pcb have some level of continuity although somewhat high ( a few k-ohms ? )
      WELL ANywaY that was quite the digression but as you can see I'm running out of options Lol
      thanks for listening to/reading my babbling and for any help these mighty and wise forum participants provide!

        Need good clear straight on pictures of board and connector.
        I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.
