Shopjimmy doesn't have it as a cross reference. I'm seriously doubting it'll work.
Shopjimmy only lists cross references that they have personally seen installed. I have had a couple instances where I took a gamble and it worked.

I have looked everyone on the web for the part. I am coming up short on the mainboard. If anyone knows anywhere else to get it that would be great. Hate to get this and it not work.

You're more than welcome to give it a try if you want and return it if it doesn't work but I have my doubts since the screen size is different. The TV was indeed the UG version so that matches at least. If you want to take a stab I can cut the 20% restocking fee to simply whatever amount the shipping costs me. You're call completely.

Main thing is I don't want to be out the shipping if you decide to try it.

I am not sure where to find the mainboard at all because everything says it is not in stock.

I believe that seller actually is a badcaps member -- aaronwt6 -- you may want to PM him and ask if he has the LCD panel model # to be extra sure. Also ask if he can offer returns, but you will have to pay shipping of course.

I wiggled the cables on the T-con board and nothing changed. I will look for the main board. I found this model eax55177902. Shopjimmy is out. UGH.

The main board: one with the video inputs on it.

1st try reseating all cables etc. going to the t-con on both ends. Try wiggling while the TV works, any effect on pic?

You need to match the EAX or EBR number... try to match EAX over EBR.

no i do not have an scope. If i was too board swap which should i do ? I tried to look at shopjimmy and did not see it there. I was trying to track down parts. I do not mind doing board swaps just do not know how to match up the boards.

Yeah I can see 120Hz Motion Processor on main board. So if you were to board swap, I'd try that over anything. Though, it is possible it is another fault. To track down you would need a scope. Do you have one?

Okay here is the back off and you can see the t-con board is separate from the motherboard. Should i unplug one and then see if it is better or not ? Let me know which sheild to take off first and check

Okay it is an LG 47 inch model is 47lg70-ug.au8qlvm and serial is 809mxxq2l554.

I have not open it up as I am not sure which screens to take off. I am trying to look for manual. Here is a pic of the menu and what it is doing . I am all Ears and ready to learn.

If this is a TV with has a 100Hz motion processor usually t-con/main board swap will do it.

    LG tv for 25 bucks

I am getting this tv for 25 bucks with vertical lines. I am not sure how to begin troubleshooting. If i can not fix it i already own a LG 47 inch and will keep as parts but would love to fix.

Here is what it is doing. I do not have a model number as of yet. I will when i pick it up.

Is this worth fixing or not ??

I have a multimeter and not afraid to use it.
