LG 50PG20D Plasma no sound/no picture

Hi, my much loved lg plasma tv 50pg20d turns grey when i click on, goes from green to red light 3 times while clicking. No picture/no sound...... Over time it took longer to get started till it would not give a picture and sound at all. Does not glow in the dark, caps are not bulging and don't look bad but maybe this does not mean anything.

Lg repairer said can't fix no parts.
Another electronics expert said it was the z sus and changed a couple of bits on it but made it worse ( no lights at all) so i told him to put my bits back on. Then he said not fixable because v sus and buffers. My brother in law also tried to fix but does not know enough about them.
    Please help from chooky

Thanks Tom, took some photos but they are a little blurry don't know why
Sticker says my TV is PDP50G 10343 there is another sticker thats missing
probably fell off. Invoice says 50PG20D.

Boards were taken off and l just put them back on. Technician thought it was z sus and replaced 2 transistors which made it worse so l told them to put mine back on, hope he did. Friend who visits this site is coming on saturday to do everything you have told me so far.
          THANKS SO MUCH TOM

You have to take better focused pictures. Sorry to sound picky, but I don't have this TV in front of me, I have never worked on this TV, so the pictures are my eyes.

To try to improve photo quality: use flash, or place TV near window to shorten shutter time, hold camera as steady as possible, use image stabiliser, etc.

Re: LG 50PG20D Plasma no sound/no picture

so, im the lucky guy having a go at this one!
this is where i am at now!
              all fuses tested good,
              panel voltages
              label/has
              vs 60/63.8
              va 194/191.8
the panel is priming, but no pic and i havnt found any sound.
checked buffers and they are good.
i ran the test patterns (auto, ext, gen), and got some great looking colours.
the panel still does its on and off in 3 second bursts before staying on.
not sure if there may be more that one problem going on here.
so now im looking at the main board.
im wondering if an eprom could cause this, or some of this issue?

oh, and it looks like a main board replacement may be almost impossible to find for this set!

Part number for Main board is EBR42472802 for LG 50PG20D (or UA)
Tainted Dragon thinks it is this that needs replacing.
                  What do you think Tom66
