    Vizio XVT3sv

I'm thinking about buying this led TV 47". Before the decision is made, is there known issues with this series that some may have encountered? There's a chance it could be the main-board, by the information given to me: "No picture, but back lights work". There isn't much information out there or any known major problems with this series. There was some mention about the "transistors" perhaps, FETS or voltage regulators, going bad on the main board as well as a shorted fuse. Not sure if the fuse was on the P.S. or the main board. Or maybe it's a good idea to just stay away from the deal-They're asking around 100.00 plus.

Anyway, any suggestions or information would be appreciated.

Well, I decided not to get this one. Reading the Vizio XVT series threads, the main board is the likely candidate for replacement. FETS, Voltage regulators, EEPROMS and in one case an IC chip were bad. In most cases, they just replaced the board. I really don't want to invest in buying a main board along with the original purchase price of the TV right now with Christmas coming up.

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know what my decision was. Thanks again.
