    LG 50ps3000

My mother in law asked me to look at her tv (not that i know much) and it appears the colours seem washed into each other like greens appear red at times it doesn't look too bad depending on what colours/images are on screen.

Seems like a bit of a red haze blends into the picture and lots of sparkle like distortion

from looking a problem with the sustain boards?

would upping or lowering the voltage help at all?

If you lived next to Farnell's Leeds trade counter, or an RS tradecounter it could work out cheaper, but otherwise probably not.

I also fixed this fault with a repair kit from eBay, and it worked fine for around two months, however the problem has re-appeared, with the same failed components (MOSFETS, power resistors etc - I ensured there was a proper coating of heatsink compound and screwed doen the MOSFETS tightly, and also replaced a number of small electrolytics on the control board that were supplied with the kit). I suspect there is an underlying cause (I did post something about this in another thread on here) any ideas folks?
