Philips 42PF7621 LCD-panel, standby led flashes 8 times. (Chassis BJ3.0E)
According to S/M this indicates a fault in the 1.2V DC/DC converter.
This is probably located on the mainboard.
I'm not quite familiar with the startup sequence, there are lots of different versions of this set with different config's of supplies and so on.
I have a stable STBY +5V from the AUDIO and STANDBY board. Set tries to start up main PSU, begin to generate +24V and +12V lines.
But clicks off second after.
Anyway know if there are common faults on DC/DC part of mainboard?
