    Samsung TV Model LA26R71BA

    Hi,

My Samsung TV Model LA26R71BA has intermittent audio turn off for 5 seconds and then on again. This happens for about 10 minutes and then the audio is ok.

May I know which components should I check? I have already changed the caps.

    I attach the power board.

    Regards,
    John

    Re: Samsung TV Model LA26R71BA

Usually on these sets there is a separate 12V supply for audio and a 13V supply for other stuff. 12V supply uses a simple linear regulator and regulates the 13V supply. Check the 12V output. If it's bad, try new thermal paste on the regulator; if that fails, replace the regulator.

This is a close schematic for the 192B variant (you have 192A):

You can see 12V regulator ICM853.

      Re: Samsung TV Model LA26R71BA

The voltage output from ICM853 is 12.33vdc, same as the input voltage.

When there is no audio, the output voltage is still 12.33vdc.

Must I apply new thermal paste to ICM853? Or is there other components to check? Or should I replace ICM853?

Ah, I had hoped that was your issue, but it is not. We would need to look at the main board next if the 12V is good. Part# on main board (BN96...?)

That's the power board; the main board is the board which takes the video inputs.

                  Hi,

Should I check on the power board or the main board for this intermittent no audio problem? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

                    Hi,

Just to give more info. When there is no audio, I also cannot adjust the volume or change the channel.

                    What could be the problem?

                      Hi,

Maybe this issue is not easy to advise as there is no more advice for many days.

I wish to thank all for reading this thread and advice given. Especially Tom66.

If I can find solution elsewhere I will update here so that others with the same issue can benefit too.

                      Thanks.

Missed your post, sorry. If you cannot adjust the volume, try checking the headphone audio port is not contaminated. Also, check if you still have headphone audio during the fault.

You can hook that up to test - you could use an external amplifier, or an oscilloscope.

I use the Audio Out from RCA ports and the result is the same as the main speakers.

When there is no audio from the main speakers, the audio out RCA also has no audio and all controls are temporary frozen.

Have you tried a complete service mode reset?
From standby: Mute 1 8 2 Power or Info Menu Mute Power on remote.
In the options menu, if you can see READY setting, try both ON and OFF modes.

I tried - From standby: Mute 1 8 2 Power or Info Menu Mute Power on remote.
It is still the same and no audio.

I cannot find options menu. But if you mean menu option, there is no Ready setting.

This Samsung combined power supply and inverter was replaced a while ago from a Samsung 37inch LE37B530P7W TV. However I would like to repair this one.
I have replaced the Mosfets Q1820 and Q1821 ( FDPF7N50U) which were both blown and the fuse FM802S. The schematic for this power supply that is attached doesn't relate to this power supply as the driving transistors and diodes are D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 are nowhere on the schematic!
Does anyone know what the components for D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 should be? I ask as I did change the Mosfets...

I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Assuming...

                                          Samsung Power Supply Board BN44-00874F
                                          by Nicktronic
                                          Hey everyone,

This power supply board is hard to find but there are repair kits available. This board had a blown fuse, FP801S, blown PFC MOSFET, QP802CS and ceramic cap, CP809. I replaced them with parts I already had and tested the rest of the parts that would've come in the repair kit and they were fine. I powered the board up on the bench expecting, in typical Samsung power supply board fashion, to see all my output voltages but, nothing. 0 volts on CNL801, CNM801 and CNT801. The only thing I have is 170vdc on the filter caps. No standby voltage either.

                                          Anybody...

Samsung QE 75 Q 7 FGMTZG Power Supply dead
                                          by kevin_allein
Hi, have this Samsung QE 75 Q 7 FGMTZG TV with no function. First analysis shows the power supply board is dead and fuse blown. Power Supply has the number BN94-11439A. I did short circuit test transistor and diodes and those do not appear to have shorts. I must admit I did not look at every single data sheet.
In the TV was some black dust residue, so probably one of the electrolytic caps blew, but they do not show short either.

Does anyone have schematics for that board ?
Any good tip, what could be the issue ?
