There is no text on screen when those buttons are pressed after the standby mode. After the last button i.e. Power button is pressed, the TV is turned on.

I hope I get your instructions correctly.

Maybe it is different for Asia/Pacific TV (="LA") compared to US (="LN") and Europe (="LE"). I will do some quick research.

According to the service manual found here

it is POWER OFF -> INFO -> MENU -> MUTE -> POWER ON.

If that does not work then a different reset technique needs to be tried, but I am not sure it will work on these models.

          Hi Tom66,

          It seems to work.

I pressed INFO->MENU->MUTE->POWER ON and some texts appeared. I selected RESET and the intermittent audio seemed to be gone.

I will monitor for a few days.

Thank you Tom66 for your guidance and patience.

              The intermittent audio is back.

After I switched off for about 8 hrs, the problem returned when I switch on the TV. Seemed like the factory reset only worked for a while.

Could it be the caps as the power is discharged after 8 hrs?

Go back into the service menu and check what the READY is set to. It will be hidden in one of the sub menus.

The Ready from Option Table(Service) is set to ON. It cannot be turned OFF.

The TV still has intermittent no audio. Where else should I check?

So, out of interest, if you repeat the reset procedure, do you get another ~8hrs? Or perhaps that was just a coincidence?

                      Hi Tom,

The 8 hrs was the time I left it overnight. I wouldn't know exactly how long it takes to revert back to the intermittent audio problem although.

                              Hi,
Try cleaning the main board with isopropyl alcohol, may be flux.
                              good luck.

This Samsung combined power supply and inverter was replaced a while ago from a Samsung 37inch LE37B530P7W TV. However I would like to repair this one.
I have replaced the Mosfets Q1820 and Q1821 ( FDPF7N50U) which were both blown and the fuse FM802S. The schematic for this power supply that is attached doesn't relate to this power supply as the driving transistors and diodes are D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 are nowhere on the schematic!
Does anyone know what the components for D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 should be? I ask as I did change the Mosfets...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply

I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                Hey everyone,

This power supply board is hard to find but there are repair kits available. This board had a blown fuse, FP801S, blown PFC MOSFET, QP802CS and ceramic cap, CP809. I replaced them with parts I already had and tested the rest of the parts that would've come in the repair kit and they were fine. I powered the board up on the bench expecting, in typical Samsung power supply board fashion, to see all my output voltages but, nothing. 0 volts on CNL801, CNM801 and CNT801. The only thing I have is 170vdc on the filter caps. No standby voltage either.

                                Anybody...

Samsung QE 75 Q 7 FGMTZG Power Supply dead
                                by kevin_allein
Hi, have this Samsung QE 75 Q 7 FGMTZG TV with no function. First analysis shows the power supply board is dead and fuse blown. Power Supply has the number BN94-11439A. I did short circuit test transistor and diodes and those do not appear to have shorts. I must admit I did not look at every single data sheet.
In the TV was some black dust residue, so probably one of the electrolytic caps blew, but they do not show short either.

Does anyone have schematics for that board ?
Any good tip, what could be the issue ?
