    Olevia 242-t11 No picture

I have an olevia 242-t11 that I am attempting to repair. The tv turns on normally, and the backlight comes on, but there is no picture, either from the inputs or from the menu button. The first thing I did was check the caps on the powerboard, and they all appear fine. The caps on the mainboard and both inverters appear good also. After doing some more research, I discovered it was most likely a blown fuse on the t-con board. I tested it, and it is passing a charge. I don't even know what else I should check. Any suggestions?

Bad fuse on t- con will give you a gray screen.

Olivia known for bad caps on power supply. I have fixed many of them.

Don`t judge the book (cap) by it`s cover!

For those looking to test capacitors, get a B&K 881 in-circuit capacitor checker. I love mine! It saves a lot of time since you do not have to unsolder them from the board.
