That is odd -- seems like some part of the main board is turning on the PS ON (CT) signal but it's too weak, could be there is a short on the power board which is holding down PS ON. Try with a 100 ohm resistor to 5V (other end to CT), does it rise to at least 2V?Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Unplug connector from main board end, connect a 100 ohm resistor between the 5V which is working and the CT pin, then measure the CT pin, is it more than 2V?Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Unplug the power connector from the main board side, then use the 100 ohm resistor to connect between the 5V and CT pins, I'm not sure on numbers but they should be labelled.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

OK this definitively indicates a main board problem.
You can try checking voltage regulators https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22231

I have this receiver for at least 10 years. Usually, we just use the remote for turning on/off and adjusting the volume. Recently, the remote control started not able to turn the receiver on. Later, the volume also could not be adjusted by the remote control.
At first, I thought that it was the usual problem which can be fixed by cleaning the contacts on the switches and the pcb. I opened the remote and clean it with alcohol. The remote did work again after that. But after one day, it did not work again. I opened it again and clean with alcohol and contact cleaner. Again it worked... -
Hi, I have an old Privileg brand 5.1 speakers. I have lost the remote control. I have an universal Harmony remote but there is no Privileg brand in it's software to add. Does anybody have an idea what alternative brand for a remote can I try instead? I'm attaching an image of what the speakers looks like. The image shows 2 main speakers, they are 5 + 1 in total. I am looking forward to get the schematic of Denon remote control RC1156. Actually long time no use of the remote leaked the battery thereby corroding few parts as well as the tracks.
I was able to join few of them but the remote is still not working, so i am looking forward for your help, in case anyone understand the schematic or the remote circuit diagram and could me assist me in repairing it.

I have a hitachi 75hl16t64u tv in for repair and it is driving me crazy.
It came in for a power issue which I have finally resolved by replacing the power supply.
The current issue is that the TV does not respond to the remote control. I have replaced the IR sensor board with a used one but the fault persists.
Anyone have a clue how to fix TV?
FYI: I have checked the remote work s by pointing it at my camera on my phone.... -

I have an TV Led 4K Selecline 65s18 with mainboard T.MS3458.U801
The TV is faulty with stuck in Standby RED LED. Can't power the TV.
Before this problem , the TV stuck the picture with artefact , i unplug the AC cable and since the tv is stuck in standby .
All voltage are OK on PSU and main board for regulator. I tried flash firmware 25Q64 with many dumps
But the voltage on power button is 0.6V not 3.3V. When i press power button the voltage up to 0V. I tried to add 5V with Power Supply on 5V_STB and 3.3V on Power...
