I picked up A Vizio VP50 with a bad upper buffer. I had the buffer repaired and got everything back together. The TV now works but the quality of the picture does not seem right. While watching a see a slight "aurora" of greenish purplish colors on the picture. I know these sets are 1080i but I would have expected a lot better picture. Anything to look for or is this typical of this set? I could try to take a picture but I'm not sure it would show up.

Ok did some trouble shooting. Fuse on x-Main was blown. I had 209 Vdc on one side of the fuse. But when I replaced the fuse the screen would not come on at all and there was no voltage at either side of the fuse on the x-main. -
