This TV has never been used with headphones but has switched itself to wired headset mode.(Message is visible in the audio set up menu). The headphone socket seems to be OK so I think its a software fault.Any ideas or comments please.

Re: LG42LW450U No audio and in wired headset mode
There is a service bulletin out there for this, I'll try to get it for you, long story short it is actually the headphone jack which is faulty and needs replacement. Or if you do not use the headphones you can remove the jack completely. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.
The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...2 Photos -
by i_am_patchHi All. I had a Roland KR-3500 Digital Piano (similar to the KR-4500) that exhibited a Crackling audio sound on all keys. After reading somewhere about someone with a similar issue who had replaced all the Electrolytic caps I decided to also go down that route. (Spoiler : It worked !) After some basic troubleshooting I determined that it could be noise feeding thru from the Keyboard scanning since the Demo tunes played back undistorted and the Audio amp / speakers were fine ( Inserted an Audio signal into the rear Audio input). After extracting the main board from the shield, I replaced 7 Capacitors...

by ntecI have a logitech g935 headset and the weird issue is that one side does not work on wireless but when plugged in with the 3.5mm cable it works fine so I don't think it's the wiring?. I have already updated the firmware and checked all the windows audio settings to make sure the balance was equal etc so I don't think it's a software issue. Should I assume it's a logic board issue? I did take it apart but not sure where to troubleshoot on the logic board. I do have a fluke meter and familiar with soldering if needed.12-14-2021, 12:09 PM

by MOSSEPHi
Im hoping someone might be able to give me some idea of what may be wrong with my Monitor Audio RSW12 Sub.
Ive owned it since new in around 2002, so would really like to keep it running if I can, it was the first ‘decent' bit of audio equipment I ever purchased and is a little sentimental.
The issue I had was that it would power up with the red light, but sometimes the green light would not come on and I would get no bass from it. If the green light did come on though, I would get sound out of it.
I have already tried replacing all of the... -
by grimacelordHello,
I'm working on a MacBook Air A2337 that had liquid damage on the right I/O board. I ultrasonic cleaned the board and it all functions except the computer has no audio. I tried reballing the audio IC which is TAS5770AC0, but that did not restore audio. I could just replace the entire board, but I wanted to see if replacing the audio IC would fix it first. Mouser has a similar audio IC in stock which is TAS5770LC0YFFR, but I wasn't sure if it is compatible. I was just wondering if anyone knew if I could use the one from mouser as an acceptable replacement or if I need to purchase... - Loading...
