Re: lg 50pc1da grey flickering screen
Buffer+ERC IPM on Y-sus is usually the cause of this fault. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: lg 50pc1da grey flickering screen
Yes, there may be two IPMs. The ER IPM is the one near the coiled inductors -- little ~1-inch loops of wire I believe on this set. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: lg 50pc1da grey flickering screen
Desolder the IMP first buddy and then unscrew it from the heatsink. The Pn is written on the top of it. Also have you checked the sustain voltages ?Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Anyone Doing So Will Be Banned Instantly !

Re: lg 50pc1da grey flickering screen
YPPD-J016C, YPPD-J017C as I recall, cant remember which is the SUS IPM or ERC IPM....
Symptom could well be either or with them, and could be the ones on either board--Just to confuse!
Best way to tell, Listen closely--To which one 'Ticks'TELEFIX

by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
by DrvLikHellHello everybody! It's been nine years and I'm back again with the same monitor that several people here helped me fix back then. The first time, I replaced two caps as was recommended here and the original problem was solved. Then it started acting up a few years later and I came back for a parts list and replaced a few more caps (I didn't make a post about that and don't remember which ones), and again the problem was solved. This time, however, I'm not sure if it's caps.
The monitor stays on but certain colors will flicker. Generally it's darker colors like dark greys or dark blues,...-

by smic717394Hi,
I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on... -
This TV has been on the wall in our reception area for around 10 years and the other day the backlight failed. You could see a feint picture so we knew the screen was OK. I took the TV apart to get to the failed backlight and inject voltage in to each half of the LED strips to identify which ones had failed and 4 needed replacing. I ordered a set off of Amazon and they arrived the next day.
On fitting the new LED strips I plugged in the TV was blinded by the light!!
It was only when I partially put it all back together (including the screen) that... -
by russianbarThis isn't my video but it's a fair representation of the fault I have, starts with slight screen flicker as the set warms up which happens every 5 seconds or so that gets more regular until more or less constant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Un8cAjUtOvA was thinking T-Con but open to any other ideas as seems to be quite a common fault on these
