Phillips 46PFL3706/F7 dead, no light or audio

I have a Phillips 46pfl3706/f7 that will not power up. This happened after a storm. When plugged in I can hear the relay click, but when the power button is pushed, there is nothing. No led light, no back light, no audio.
The fuse on the inverter is good. The fuse on the power supply is good.
I have attached pics of the power supply, main board and inverter board.

I am trying to find out if it would be a power supply problem or a main board problem. Any help would be great, Thanks.

At the pins going from the power supply to the main board there is only 10 volts where it says there should be 12 volts.

The 2 ICs on the bottom of the power board control the 12VCD and 24VDC on these TVs. If after testing all the diodes and transistors you still can not find the problem then replace the 2 ICs. You get your standby voltage but the 12VDC and 24VDC are missing

can you post good clear pictures of the writing by the side of the power supply connectors as we maybe able to help you force the psu on to test the voltages without the mainboard connected and please double check your multi meter readings maybe try a new 1.5 or 9v battery just to make sure its not under reading etc as we have saw this before a few times.

Help troubleshooting an audio problem with an RCA SGT-250 CED Player
            by samson7point1@yahoo.com
The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.

The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...

Power supply Manson NTP-5561 (5661) LCD controller dead - PIC18F87K90 HEX dump required
            by Andreas_de
            Hello!

i got a damaged Manson NTP-5561 (60V, 1,6A DC output) and and the main issue is that the controler IC for the LCD display has a short. The controler IC PIC18F87K90 is mounted on the back of the back of the LCD. Vss-Vdd = 3 Ohm. The 5V and 3,3V power line was killed as well, but that is not a problem. A new LDO 3,3V and 5V 7805 is already ordered.
Replacing the PIC18F87K90 is necessary but that makes no sense without having the HEX dump of the new controler.

Does anybody have such a power supply and could do a HEX dump of the Flash and EEPROM memory?

HP Elitebook 845 G8 dead, only caps lock flashing 7 times. Charging light always on
            by esqmooo
            Hello everyone.

This is my development machine. I've been using it since two years and half without any problem except sometimes it wouldn't wake up from sleep.
Lately the issue became more frequent and powering it up would take few seconds to show the POST screen.
Then the computer refuses to power on at all. Now only the caps lock button flashes 7 times then stops. The charging light is always on whenever a power source is connected (battery or charger).
I tried long pressing on the power button, after several seconds it would go off then when the button is released...

Monitor Audio RSW12 - Green light, but no sound
            by MOSSEP
            Hi

Im hoping someone might be able to give me some idea of what may be wrong with my Monitor Audio RSW12 Sub.

Ive owned it since new in around 2002, so would really like to keep it running if I can, it was the first ‘decent' bit of audio equipment I ever purchased and is a little sentimental.

The issue I had was that it would power up with the red light, but sometimes the green light would not come on and I would get no bass from it. If the green light did come on though, I would get sound out of it.

I have already tried replacing all of the...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
            by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...
