Went to buy this used not working TV today. The problem originally was, has sound, but an all blue screen. when I showed up to the owners house, she told me her cat had knocked the TV over. It was leaning against the wall. this was a wall mounted TV that was removed from the wall bracket. (no base). when she turned the TV on, the display symptoms had changed. below is a picture of what the display looks like now with no external connections connected to it. she gave me the TV for $0.
My question is, what does this look like, a lcd problem caused by the fall or possibly something repairable? for the original problem of has sound and a blue screen I was going to check caps on power board as a starter. however, I'm not sure what to check based on the picture.
many thanks for this form. the knowledge base is incredible.
