I have a LG 50pc3d-ud plasma tv and I have red vertical lines. I would like some info. I have replaced the power board because there were bulging caps. I turned on the tv and I still have the red vertical lines. So I read in here to disconnect the y buffer boards so I did. I first disconnected the top y buffer board from the y sus board and left the little jumper cable between the top buffer board and the bottom buffer board and nothing I still had red vertical lines. So I reconnected the top y buffer board to the y sus board and disconnected the bottom board from the y sus board and turn on the tv and I got top half was picture the bottom had the red vertical lines. So I disconnected the little jumper cable that connects the two y buffer boards and the top half had picture and the bottom half was black. Now I am thinking that I have a bad bottom y buffer am I think right or am I wrong and it is the y sus board? I just want to be a little more clear on this. I would greatly appreciate the info. Here is a picture of what it is doing at the start. I hope I did this right. Thanks Ron

Re: LG 50pc3d-ud Red vertical lines
You may have a bad mosfet on the bottom buffer board. I had issues with the same buffer board in a 50" Toshiba plasma:
