I first started with a red screen I changed the power supply because the caps were bulging. I next changed the upper and lower buffer board which the tv worked for about an 1 1/2 hour then the y sus board started to click and I changed the ipms on the board I put in two sanyo ipms put the board in and the tv works. Now I am getting when the tv sits for about 12 hours i can turn on the tv and I will get a picture but no sound i can turn up the volume and nothing. But when I go into the menu under audio and flip the check mark from front speaker on to off and then back to on again the sound comes...

I have a LG 50pc3d-ud plasma tv and I have red vertical lines. I would like some info. I have replaced the power board because there were bulging caps. I turned on the tv and I still have the red vertical lines. So I read in here to disconnect the y buffer boards so I did. I first disconnected the top y buffer board from the y sus board and left the little jumper cable between the top buffer board and the bottom buffer board and nothing I still had red vertical lines. Hi my name is Ron and I am from Regina Saskatchewan Canada. I came across this site looking to fix a lg 50pc3d-ud TV and I am impressed to this site and all that it has wow. I know that I will be using this site in the far future because I like to tinker with all kinds of things including electronics. I am about half way on getting this tv fixed I hope to find the rest on how to fix it.
