If your Y-sus fuse is blown, I would suspect the Y-sus to be bad.
These sets may detect a failed sustain and shut down the control board.

Thank you for the reply tom. Please tell me a good way to see if the y sus is bad. I want to make sure that it is that board. Also if it is fried, i think that board is around $70. Would it be worth fixing the tv or parting this thing out?

On both y and z sus the heatsinks are cold. Does that mean both are bad?

Please help anybody. Just wondering if i can replace these heatsinks on the y-sus board. If so which ones do i need to get? THanks for whomever replies. I also tested the mosfets on the heatsinks and went along with the manual of the tv. Some showed OL on my meter when there should i have some voltage. Is this a short?
