Anybody else have a idea on whats going on or had the same problem? i really dont want to part this out if i dont have too.

Thanks for the quick reply. I tested for shorts on both the original buffer board and the one i bought. Niether one of them had shorts. Does that count them out as being bad or can they still be bad?...Leave a comment:

Hi. Let me just start with what boards i have replaced. I have replaced the y-sus, z-sus, control board and lower buffer board.
I have sound but no picture unless i remove the bottom buffer board completely. Then on the top half of the tv i have picture but has vertical black lines across it but still see the static screen in the back. So thats when i bought the new buffer board but when i put the new one in there still wasnt a picture but has sound. I have no clue what it could be. Im thinking something on the bottom part of the y-sus where it plugs it but i may be completely... -

I have one quick question though. When i removed the bad board the upper board would show a picture but it has vertical red and black lines. Is that normal when the other one is removed?...Leave a comment:

ok im about to give up on this thing. I have replaced the y and z sustain and also the control board. The control board now has a light on it blinking but still no picture. Also where before i was getting actually sound out of it, it is no a static sound and i tried changing the input to no avail. Would anybody have a idea on what it could be? This is really frustrating but i do not like anything defeating me lol

With a bad Z-sus would that keep the Y-sus heatsinks from warming up? Because niether are warming up at all after the tv is on for 30 minutes.
I have another question, since the Z-sus is plugged into the Y-sus, does the Z-sus get its power from the Y-sus? I have not seen another cable that connects the Z-sus to the power supply....Leave a comment:

I adjusted the vsc but something just doesnt seem right about the VZB. I keep getting eractic voltages. I do not know if im measuring in the right spot or not. Would you like me to get you a picture of my Z-sus board to show me where to measure this at?

Ok...on the z-sus board i did not have the test points like in the guide for VZbias. I did have where it had VZB to the right of the picture but not the top where it says VZB. I tested that spot just in case and i got 71.6 . Also i got the results VY- 189.3 and VSC 135.8.
