Is there an AS15 IC on the T-con? (Small square chip.)

We need a closer image of the T-con board, ideally we would be able to read the part numbers on each IC, if necessary, split the photo into two or four parts.

You can try testing the voltages in the box marked GAMMA. Each voltage 1 thru 18 should test slightly higher than the last.

                  no its not
                  when turned on
i get full bright white screen with a faint shaeded picture with hardly any colour
as if colours were nearly off but brightness is full up

yet colour controls are up high

It does sound like GAMMA fault, so please perform the test I suggested (board installed in TV.) Gamma circuit is used to drive the panel brightness, making the light output linear with the input signal.

more than likely the t-con board or the lcd panel itself

here is a link on how to test the psu

Hi all Happy Holidays! Was just wondering if you think this white vertical bar would be fixable. Maybe bad TCon or ribbon cable? Contemplating trading a 50 inch Hisense 4K Roku for the Samsung but might get burned lol. The Samsung is model QN65Q80AAFXZC QLED TV has a white vertical Bar. Any thought appreciated. Thanks.
