• No I never tried it yet test.testary ... but thats my plan since the strips are obselete/discontinued and mostly all gone. The WG55UR4100 I have I used a bunch of the strips to fix another identical one. So now going to just get the 3P55TA004-A0 and use them to get this one back up and running when I get to it.
They are good tv's still and have nice picture even though they are older 2017 or so models. Still actually better than most the garbage they are pushing now.

WG55UR4100 uses 10 strips (5 x 3 volt leds on each strip) 3P55TA004-A2
WG55UX4100 uses 10 strips (5 x 3...

• That's correct 3P55TA004-A2 and 3P55TA004-A0 both will work. I have had same tv sitting here for over a year and have not got around to getting leds.
Westinghouse WG55UR4100 TV is same as Element E4STA5517

• Thanks for your input Diah, Davi.p.. if I understand correctly your advice is that you would not bother with this Samsung. I will take your advice ☺

• I don't actually have the tv ... I got an offer to trade a working tv for the Samsung with the vertical line. Just wanted to get some expert input from here. Yes I was thinking along the lines of what EazyBone says ... worst case scenario bad panel .. than I am out a good tv that I will have traded for the bad tv. And Diah is right too would be nice to actually see inside before doing a trade, but doubt the trader would go through that. So maybe is better to not take the risk and just forget the negotiation. Than again could be easy fix lol .. Ughhh hate these kind of choices. Thanks for the input...

• Samsung QN65Q80AAFXZC QLED TV has a white vertical Bar

Hi all Happy Holidays! Was just wondering if you think this white vertical bar would be fixable. Maybe bad TCon or ribbon cable? Contemplating trading a 50 inch Hisense 4K Roku for the Samsung but might get burned lol. The Samsung is model QN65Q80AAFXZC QLED TV has a white vertical Bar. Any thought appreciated. Thanks.

• Re: 55r6095g5 Hisense question for all

You need some black double sided tape. Don't use clear ... I did on my first fix on one of these and the light comes through around the edges of the screen. Use black only.
Here's a link on Aliexpress.com ... Amazon probly has it to but more expensive.

I used 5mm but is very hard to work with ... so thin. the 10mm would be better to work with.

Heres a youtube video tooo .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PN3vp1RtiL0Re: 55r6095g5...

• Re: Hisense 50A6G

Hi Elmano ... With tv plugged in ... if there is a small rest button hole on the back. Did you try pushing it and holding it in with a paperclip or something for about 10 seconds and release. Maybe that will reset the glitch.

• Re: what to use to stick panel with no bezel

Like Zomi said ... some high quality good double sided tape. Cut small squares and place about 4 inches apart all the way around the panel. Easier to lift panel back out again if need to service. Avoid glue at all costs ... no matter how careful you try to be you will have glue all over the panel and risk damaging or smears all over the glass. Glue hard to remove. Good luck hope you get it fixed.

• Re: TV Philips 43PUS8505/12 - horizontal line and picture jumping

yes I have 3 RCA's with same problem, nice tv's 4K but lost interest and sure as hell not going to spend hundreds of dollars on replacement parts if not going to solve the problem. Maybe this post will renew my interest to have another look. Have heard a lot about removing useless diodes on several brands like samsung, lg, rca etc and problem solved. Hope it works for you ... will be keeping an eye on this post.

• Re: Sharp LC-55N7000U 1 long 5 short blinking, no display

99 percent it's backlights. Do the flashlight test in the dark to see if you can see the Sharp Logo and the images on screen when booting up ... and have sound. That way you know it's bad leds and not something else like mainboard.
Here's the LED replacement info.
https://www.aliexpress.com/i/1005001638120251.html
This is common with all Sharp / Hisense models. If backlights are left at 100 percent from factory sale. Only last 1 or 2 years. Replace and turn them down to 60 percent and last way...

• Re: Sharp LC-58Q7330U No Backlight

It's your backlight's. I have done several of these models. A couple been using myself for a few years now no issues. Just make sure you turn the backlights down after install to 60 or less and they will last for years. Here is link to 5 strip set. I have never had problems with purchasing here.

• Re: Hisense 65H8G Boot Loop

If the USB update from stick don't kick in / or doing a hard reset .. you will probably need to replace the main board.

• Re: Hisense 65H8G Boot Loop

Your tv got bricked by a recent android update most likely. I would wait for Hisense to send you a new firmware update to put on a usb stick formatted in Fat32. Than update the tv on power on with the USB update.

• Re: Hisense 65a7300ftuk - RSAG7.820.9659 schematics?

Don't overthink it. If you did the flashlight test and can see an image. It is bad led(s). I have fixed about 6 of these recently from 58" to 65" sharp / hisense. They are sold with backlights blaring at 100% and average user does not know that you can reduce them to extend the LED life. I set them to around 60 and picture is still bright. Been using one in bedroom for over a year now no problems. Here is a link to Aliexpress.com. Same leds you'll pay 100 bucks for in north america which orders them all from overseas...

• Re: Hisense 58R6E - Changed all LEDs but...

Yes I recently changed leds in 2 of these. Just take your time, be gentle and use an old credit card, gift voucher to gently pry the bezel clips till they snap out. Don't get rammy or pry to hard or will bust clips off. Youtube shopjimmy has good videos on that model so you can see how it's done.

• Re: un58tu7000 reboot loop

I got lucky fixing one of these for a friend who was pissed at Samsung. A year old and started boot looping with blank screen. Samsung told them to F off. I left the tv unplugged for 24 hours. Held power button for 30 seconds to dump excess residual power. Also held power button on remote toward unplugged tv for 30 seconds. When plugged it back in it booted normally. I immediately updated it with newer software from USB stick. (maybe update prevents further glitches). Been working since. I told them to also be wary that this model has been know to ignite...

• Re: TVPartsToday Not Recommended

Aliexpress.com is good ... if you can wait 2 or 3 weeks for your items to ship from overseas. About 95 percent of the things I've ordered for half the price compared to here work fine.

• Re: Toshiba 58L1350UC Backlight.

You can also try testing each LED individually ... if you see any that are working but are dimmer than the rest .. replace them.

• Re: samsung un65nu6900f common problem, digging deeper

Personally I would steer clear of the Samsung UN series and make sure you test with firestick or android box etc. Had a Samsung 58 inch mainboard fry my MSI RX 580 Gaming X 8GB video card plugged into HDMI port last year. Lost 400.00 video card for garbage samsung tv. Plus many complaints UN series blowing leds and causing tv to catch on fire and burn down their homes etc. I have plugged my PC into Skyworth, LG, RCA, SEIKI etc never a problem. learned my lesson lol.
