Ya thanks tiki, eazy ..is weird why someone watched this tv with 2 black squares on the screen lol ... It seems there is some tape or something behind the screen .. even though I can tell the tv has never been taken apart. A lot of these 2020 to 2023 tv's are all COVID tv's so probly built as garbage and some sucker bought it from Costco, Best Scam Buy, WalFart, Amazon Prime Crap deal etc on sale. So guess my next step is to pop the screen off and see what is actually behind it. I will report back soon with the results.

So I finally got around to 3 of these TCL 43S446-CA tv's I had picked up for free over the past year. People were dumping them. Seems these models all have cheap power supply problems with diodes. After wasting 20 bucks on a Power Supply: 08-L12CLJ1-PW200AA that was sent to me and was garbage I saw a video on youtube that was similar ... showing the bad diodes beside the backlight plug that were likely the problem. Like handsworth said all it is is the power supplies. I bought 20 SB540 diodes for 4.00 and replaced 1 SB540 diode on all 3 power supplies and now all 3 tv's work lol
