Sony Bravia 40" LCD TV KLV-40S400A - Works fine at first then lines after warm up

Hi all,

I'm looking at buying the above lcd tv from an auction site and it states that after it warms up it has intermittent lines down part of the screen and just wondering if it's worth buying for 50 NZD.

Would it be the t-con, panel or something else? I won't bother if it's a bad panel.

It's probably a LCD tab bond issue.
