    Samsung LN32A450C1DXZA Panel Problem?

Doesn't have the typical vertical lines but these horizontal bars and other abnormalities.

Did the typical reseating of LVDS and ribbon cables, and also pressed on tab bonds with no change.

Could this be anything other than the panel? Thanks!

You're right Bud it does look very similar. Nice fix BTW!

My board is different design but has same components.

Are those replacement diodes available or should I do what you did?

I do not know about the exact repalcement Diode,I just use the 1N4148/914 signal diodes, so far the TV is still working.
Did you try heating and cooling yet to see if acts the same way as mine?

I freeze sprayed panel earlier and over t-con and main board but did not see any changes, Ill have to try to just do that part. Also my TV does this when turned on from cold, and then just seems get a little worse.

I froze those diodes, turned on and pic was the same, then lost video completely for a couple minutes, then it came back on the same.

Also each of the 6 diodes tested good on the multimeter.

Wonder if I should gamble on a t-con board, everytime I do Im wrong though!

FYI replaced T-Con board and it was not the fault in this case so almost positive bad panel.

                Probably tab bonds.

                  Re: Samsung LN32A450C1DXZA Panel Problem?

The one that I fixed, at first I thought it was the bad panel so I put it away for a couple months, then I decided to work on it again and found the bad Diodes.
It is not real easy to figure out 100% if the problem is caused by T-CON or panel.

Samsung UN65TU8000 - Panel Issue [ hole in ribbon cable ]
                    by NWArkGuy
Well, I will be the first to admit that I screwed up...

In attempting to replace the backlight in a UN65TU8000, I made a hole through one of the ribbon cables between the board that runs along the bottom of the back of the TV and the panel. This lead to a between a 1/4 to 1/2 inch vertical stripe running the full height of the image.

I don't have the experience; personally, to solder a bridging wire for the paths that were cut. So, I have been on the hunt for other Samsung TV's of similar size.

I have 2 that I have found and have in my possession. ...

I came across a 50inch TU8000 that wouldnt start up properly (blinking stand-by light, backlights would cycle on and off).

When i opened it up and removed the power to the mainboard the backlights powered up and everything looked uniform.
When reconnected the mainboard but disconnected the flex cable to the panel i heard the TV startup with the intro sound.

Later I checked for shorts on the panel PCB boards but could not find anything.
When I took a look with the FLIR i noticed the 2 resistors...

                    Samsung UN55JU650DF network/streaming problem
                    by howardc64
Fixed a 9 year old UN55JU650 by replacing backlight. Original backlight LED was still working after 27k! hours but terrible picture of course. Few LEDs were out, 5-6 lens fell off (bright white spots) and another few popped off with slightest force. Surviving LEDs were all slightly blue so picture has a blue tint.

This TV runs older Tizen OS (updated to latest version, see pic) and have problems with network (wifi or ethernet) connection. The Tizen UI frequently switch to coax input source while changing content sources. . If no good signal (coax not connected, no prior antenna/cable...
