Vizio screen goes black, sound stays on

I have a 42" vizio tv. I think it is plasma. Anyway after about 10 - 15 mins the screen goes black but the sound stays on. If I shut it off for 5 or 10 mins it comes back on with a picture but only lasts for about 5 mins and goes black again. Any ideas guys and gals?
