Do you mean the reading is on the IC PIN 8 and the ground pin, or you are measuring the pads where the IC is (empty pads with the IC removed)?

So, I replaced ICM801 and QB802 isn't getting hot anymore. VCC is now switching between 0 and 15V. TV is still not working... I'm waiting for ICP801S now.

The startup capacitor could also be bad, especially if the hot transistor next to it damaged it.

Finally all parts arrived, but it's still not working. The code of the power LED is 5 short and 1 long, perhaps someone can interpret this code. I don't really know how to continue on this now.

              Transistor still hot?
Samsung do not use blink codes, ignore that for now.
All voltages from PSU good or bad?

Transistor keeps cool now. I will check all voltages later or tomorrow

The output voltages (12V, 24V,...) are all still bad. Vcc is 15V for about 2-3 sec and then switches to 0V for also 2 sec, it's always an up and down. I can hear a very quiet "click" when it comes up again.

PC801S and QB851 are switching, but the ON/OFF Signal is switching, has anyone one more suggestion?

If the ON/OFF is switching you may have a main board fault, assuming all voltages from the power supply are good.

Ok, the voltages are bad. For example at TB801S I got at Pin 2 about 380V but nothing at Pin 8-10. How is this affected of Pin 5-6-7?

I bought a used board now and the TV works again. Does someone need some spare parts? :P

Hello Everyone, this is my first post and I am excited to be a part of such a great community. I've been reading these forums for awhile and there really is some good friendly people here. No bashing and being rude like 90% of other forums Ive been to. Lets get to the good stuff.

I have two years of college in Electronics Engineering Technology. Ive been tinkering with electronics sine about 1990. I know enough just to be dangerous, so be gentle.

                            Hello,

I'm hoping to get some help figuring out how to troubleshoot this power supply board. The television is a Samsung UN75J6300AFXZA, version no. UH03. The power supply board has two model numbers on it, L75S1 and BN44-00723C. As far as experience level, I'm familiar with recapping boards in terms of safely going through the soldering motions, choosing suitable replacement parts, and so forth, but as far as understanding the various functions of each part of these TV power supply boards, I am a rank beginner.

When I plug the TV in, the screen flashes on and off and...

Samsung Bn4400612b Power Supply issue takes out a new 5A fuse on my Samsung UN50F6300, without any the BL or main board cables connected. Please advise if this board has known issues and fixes. There are no evident fried components and the caps look ok. Nothing unusal on the bottom side of the board under magnification. Is the ICM801CS under that heat sink a known issue? SJ (https://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-bn...-1473373576096) out of stock, so component level repair may be my best shot. Thanks.

Samsung pn59d530a3f no picture after power supply replacement
                            by Goldenmonkey
My samsung plasma pn59d530a3f recently had a loud pop and stopped working. after opening it up, I found a blown resistor and capacitor on the power supply board. The circuit board was damaged where the resistor connects so I opted to buy a replacement board.

after installing the replacement power supply, the tv powers up but has no picture. The electronics store I bought the power supply from said the next likely culprit could be the Y Main board.

Is there a way to test the Y Main board before just buying a replacement? Or if there are other areas I should check?

SAMSUNG PS60E6500 Power Supply BN44-00513A defect and burned
                            by maces
                            Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the power supply of my Samsung PS60E6500.
The LED of the TV is blinking and it doesn't turn on.

After checking the power supply I noticed that the PCB board is burned at QP804 (K13A60D), the MOSFET is shorted.

RP812 is also defect. Unfortunately the resistor is burned so I cannot read the value. Also QP805 and QP806 are shorted. Does anybody have a schematic diagram or does anybody know the type of the parts?...
