Finlux 37FLH845, lines on the Screen

Have a problem with my Finlux 37FLH845, no picture, only horizontal and vertical lines. I swap the T-Con but is problem still there. When I try to check the T-Con for overheating elements with my finger,I find one area where the picture is comes back. Any ideas what this???

    T-Con: LG 6870C-0247A
    PSU: 17PW26-4

If you swapped the t-con, I would be considering the possibility that you have a tab bond failure and pressing the t-con in that area is moving the tab bond. This is fixable but difficult.

    Different fault, same cause:

Hi Tom, I don't put any pressure on the Tcon, just the slight touch. Is any possibility that both TCon have the same fault?

That is possible but unlikely. Try getting an exchange from the seller.

You might not be getting a good ground from the tcon to the frame. T-cons often have to be fully screwed in / get very good ground conection to work. You could try screwing the cover over the tcon witha ll the screws and see if it works, or use a small wire to touch the case / and the parts in the circled area to see which part needs to be grounded. ... This could also short and fry parts though, touching the board with your bare hands is risky / shouldnt have been done in the first place , we always recomend using a non conductive stick to apply pressure to the board.
Fixed so far 12 lcd's , 1 plasmas, 5 monitors, 0 dlp's (plan to keep the dlps at 0). and 3 atx power supplies, and 2 motherboards.
