This one is pretty beat up from the out side, the setup menu looks OK, but the video is full of noise. This seems to be common problem when this TV came out, the fix was to replace the main board. So far it is no affected by hot or cold. I will be doing more checking.

Re: Samsung LNS4695DX bad main board
This is a very common issue with Samsung DLPs, and I believe the main board is the same or very similar for these LCD TVs. One of those Samsung RAM chips has failed. You can remove and replace them.Last edited by tom66; 02-19-2013, 04:30 AM.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung LNS4695DX bad main board
I used the spare parts to fix other TVs, I have way many TVs to fix up, when parts of one TV can be used to fix other 3 or 4 then it makes no sense to fix one. Did you try the new chips?Last edited by budm; 05-05-2014, 04:06 PM.Never stop learning
