Yeah, it's going to give problems in a few months time -- perhaps already. Perhaps someone smashed it in anger after it wouldn't turn on properly. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: vizio vw26l hdtv20f bad panel or bad caps ??
Here is another example of someone changing out what was probably an obviously bulged Capxon with a Rubycon ("K" vent), but didn't bother changing out the rest of the non bulged Capxons at the time.
Time passes and, not surprisingly, the other Capxon's bulge.
I have always recommended people replace all the caps regardless whether they are bulged or not especially if they are known bad brands like Capxon.--- begin sig file ---
If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.
We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.
Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

No picture, just red vertical stripes. Google search shows quite common problem for these recent Vizio M series although red vertical stripe pattern may differ. Some call it "Netflix" boot screen haha.
Where is the short?
Panel has 4x buffer boards. Quickly found the 1/4 panel buffer board with the problem by selectively disconnecting buffer board flex cables.
Having recently fixed another Vizio with similar symptoms that was a shorted ESD diode array ( link ) Probed the ESD diode array but... -
by EazyBonePicked up this Samsung above thinking it'd be backlights but it isn't. Now MAYBE I'll get lucky.
Found some shorted caps among the panel boards. Each cap along the line is shorted. On every board (3 panel driver boards)I disconnect each side right and left ribbons and they are no longer shorted caps and have about 1.5Mohm resistance (on left and right boards). The middle board has the main board disconnected and the caps are shorted. Last 4 pics show arrow to caps.
Now what exactly do I need to do in order to attempt to fix this issue?
do I have to take each one...10 Photos -
by momakaI know I've been a little scarce lately (like the last 2-3 years), but I'm still here and still doing my thing with fixing PSUs.
For today's considerations, I have a Seasonic B12 BC-550 [A551bcafh] 550 Watt ATX power supply for you (click on links for full size images).

It's a modern ATX unit with fixed (non-modular) cables and an 80-plus bronze certificate. Here's the label:

by frannyjunkI have a Vizio P502UI-B1 50" tv and baked the main board a little too much (to reflow BGA) resulting in a dead tv. I would like to use the Vizio LCD panel in another tv. Someone in the P502UI-B1 thread said he/she was able to take that Vizio LCD panel and put it into an LG 50UH5530 and it worked. Looking at the Tcon boards from the 2 tv's show different model boards (LG = EAMDJ2S55 while the Vizio tcon = V500DK2-CKS2). I have since looked up tv's that uses the V500DK2-CKS2 Tcon board (Hisense 50H7GB, Vizio P502-B1E & M50-C1, Westinghouse WD50UT4490, and a few others). Does this mean any...

by NSkyLabTV Model: Vizio D43f-J04

T-Con: BOE_CC430LV2D_43001 V1.0

The video of the defect is here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/fzfvmUqGXW3c1Nrg9
This is a dumpster find, don't know if it was hit, there are no visible cracks...
I though there may be something wrong with the panel voltages.
Those I managed to find on the T-Con board. Does it seem normal?
