    Sanyo DP26640 Green line in screen

    I have a friends Sanyo DP26640 that has a green line that sort of dashes across the screen slowly. It will appear and then go away and come back kind of like it's chasing itself across the screen. I'm thinking it might be a panel problem but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions before assuming that's the problem.

      It's probably a defective panel. Almost always when you have a regional defect it's the panel.

          That's what it appears to me also. Just wondering if there might be a miracle fix for it. Pretty sad for a 2 yr old tv.

              I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

              Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

              Hi ! to all fellows out there!

              I have an LG 55inch 55RG910V-ZB Curved TV. With the following problem: When I turn it ON with Remote I get a Green noise Screen (attached foto).
              I have tried reseating all ribons, Checked PSU 24V,12V,3v ,etc voltages.

              Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

              My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

              This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

              Hi to all,

              I was given this TV, an entry-level 4K 50" set. Some have criticized its lack of contrast and relatively poor colour rendering, but for my needs, it's very decent.

              I reset everything to factory settings, but this line keeps on fading in and out when watching a streaming channel from the Tizen firmware. Interestingly, it only happens when TV is warm, after about 1h45 of it being turned on.

              Watching a movie from an external source doesn't trigger the line as easily (needs 2 hours), and from a normal viewing distance, is hardly noticeable. It...
