32PFL3403D/27 no image, led on sound on

Hi all and thanks for reading. I have a Philips 32PFL3403D/27 that seems not to power on, I mean, no display image at all but the green led is on, as well as the sound. I check the power board and the inverter (I am 50yo so my eyes are not the same) but I did not see any cap or diode looking wrong. My question is if I may replace either the power board and/or the inverter. I tried to look in the threads how to check which board may be wrong but there were so many that I got lost. Any help will be very welcome

Try looking closely at the screen with a flashlight while tv is on and has an input(cable,dvd, etc). If you can make out a picture, then it would be back light problem(inverter, PSU, bad bulb).

Keep in mind, I am fairly new to tv repair but this should be your next step I believe. Also, should check the output voltages from the PSU.
