    Plasma Power Supply Test. TC-50PS1

    Hey Guys.

I have a question about panasonic plasma power supply.

    I have a TC-50PS1 with 10 blinks.
I replace both power supply and A board and still have 10 blinks problem.
My doubt is about power supply. This power supply makes a sound everytime to try turn on. Like something burn-it without smell to burn. is like 3-4sec noise and after that, my tv turn off.

Is there a simple solution for test this power supply outside from tv?
I saw couple videos doing on lcd hdtv creating false charges with reverse/stop lights from cars connecting 12V and multimeter connect to power on (diode function), but on plasmas don't know how.

So, looking for simple solution for test plasma power supply.
    Thanks

Can you get hold of a 230V, 100W light bulb? Or two 115V 100W bulbs in series?

Placing this across the Vs output should make it light up.

It would be a good idea to load Va at the same time, you can use single 115V 100W bulb, it should load it with at least 30W.

Those test need to do with the board on the tv, right?

Yes, but you can disconnect the SC/SS. TV will power up for approx 3secs before it cuts out.
