Good evening folks,
A friend of mine were very keen to get his 32" LCD up and running so of course I'm there to help.
It's a "Limited Label model Beluga32/0" which tries to start up. It starts up the backlight for a second, then powersupply shuts off.
If unplugging the backlight supply (+24V) connector from SMPS, the SMPS stays on.
During that second the backlight is on, the picture appears to be normal.
If the inverter were bad I assume the backlight won't turn on at all.
So, probably the SMPS is weak and shuts off when the inverter needs the startup energy.
BUT - I replaced the caps on the +24V line, with no help, so please look on the attached pictures if you may recognize something.
