    Magic Button???

Magnavox model 42MF438B/F7, Power board 272217100569 and
main board 313926857366. It came in totally dead so I replaced the power board. Set powered on and great picture but no sound. So I replaced the main board, still no sound. Is there a magic setting I am missing for the sound. The sound adjustment shows on the screen when I adjust it. Speakers test good, no sound on any input. Any ideas??

Ummmm, did you try a different sound/video source, and a different cable?

Did you check the speakers at the connector that connects to the PCB, or right at the speaker terminals? One of the could be broken (although EXTREMELY rare!)

If I unplug the speakers at the board then plug them back in the speakers make a pop sound. I have not tried putting a signal to them, I thought since they made noise when unplugged and plugged back in they were fine.

Oh, well then they seem fine.

Have you done a factory reset?

Pictures are not much use for troubleshooting - can you do better, and close ups of audio related parts.
