Post 37 METER IN DIOD TEST RESULTS ON CIRCUIT-D240B- AND D-240A 217. IS THIS OK? THEN I PUT BLACK TEST LEAD ON LARGE SOLDER JOINT,AND RED ON LEFT SOLDER JOINT,AND THEN ON RIGHT SMALL SOLDER JOINT SAME READINGS ON BOTH CIRCUITS, 217 READINGS,WILL SENT PICS OF FLIP SIDE OF BOARD TO SHOW WHAT IM TESTING.

"Ok again tested circuit t.1 set meter at 200 ohms NOT 200k ohms is 00.9 on 12-13 and 00.9 on 12-14 IS THAT WHAT YOU NEED?" OK, that is more like I expect from the transformer widings resistance, I do not know how you get 7.75 Ohms in the first place.

Post 62, yes, they are the two diode for the 24v POWER SUPPLY.

Do you mean .217V as readout shown on the meter?

Your meter does have diode mode.
I also drew up simplified diagram, as you can see, there is not much for the 24vdc section at all.

Re: Sanyo dp42848. No picture no sound?has anyone found the problem

Well your meter must not be the same as most other meter, my FLUKE show 0.290V which represents the Forward voltage drop of 0.290V, but any way, that seems OK if I can believe your meter reading, the Forward voltage of your Diode is .217V.
Well I cannot see why you are not getting any 24v since the transformer is OK, the Didoe are OK, the 12v section is working.

Please don't type in all caps -- it's quite hard to read.

Anyway, I know some Delta power supplies of this generation used fuses on the output. I have seen a few of them. Both in Philips LCD TVs.

It would be very rare for a power supply to fail to produce 24V, but still be able to produce the 12V, etc.

Fuses will be marked like "F8A/32V" near them; can you see any?
Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
