UN60HU8500 no image has sound and backlights
I have a 60 in Samsung UN60HU8500 4k.. has no image has sound and backlights,without pausing I bought a T-con after my research, there is a lot of Samsung's doing this.. so I installed the T-con and same problem blank screen .. not giving up...I powered off the set re installed the right ribbon to my left, there are 4...pulled up the ribbon retaining clip re installed... then the pic started working,!!! So everything is great because I only paid 150.00 for the tv .. installed the tcon metal shield powered the tv on... no picture again back to square one.. after further checking in installing the... -
Samsung 4k 60 in tv sound and backlights no image
UN60UH8550F 60 in tv
Has sound backlights work but no image,google search came up with bad t-con board, I have a power supply,a mainboard,and a t-con,replaced the t-con didn't fix it, in clipped bottom ribbon to panel then it worked, restarted tv then back to no image,then I clipped ribbon at t-con ribbon from mainboard and half screen?? Don't know if it's a bad panel any ideas?? -

lg 42ld520 back lights only
Powers on backlights work removed the tcon/mainboard here is a picture do you think this ic is blown..im not sure how to test it..its the one with the dark spot upper right hand corner...thanks... -

now I'm not flexing the panel..i thought it was panel related..but if you wiggle it and the panel was out you whould get nothing?when you plug the cable in sometimes it stays and other time it shows nothing..so is it voltage being too low from the power supply causing the left side of tcon to act up ??or tcon failure??or main board issue? ?but when you move the plug and the picture comes back allthough looking like that..but working somewha. .bad connection or cable..but who knows . I CAN TAKE VOLTAGES IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED?Leave a comment:

Yes your right..i cleaned the plug to the tcon..looked at the pins also..just thinking it may be the tcon..if you just play with that plug then you get the image you see in the picture..mabe power supply or main?hell i dont know for sure??Leave a comment:

Well i thought so but look at the picture?i also removed the front trim and checked the tabs on the panel but cant find a bad one..also the only way to get the picture whole like you see in the pic is too manipulate the tcon plug not the ribbon...and the tcon is making noise in tandem. Sony kdl46s4100 half a picture
Hello just had a quick question.my sony lcd has a problem..when i first turned it on the picture was slow to respond lower right screen.then the picture whould roll.few lines but not all the way across the screen.so i tried to trouble shoot the problem..then i turned the tv on again then i had backlights and sound but know picture..so i removed the left rear tcon board ribbon then my right side was white and have a pic on the left..so i thought i was the panel...so i removed the cord to the tcon and moved it around..then i got a whole picture .but the picture was rolling and the same as before..so...Last edited by tomstr; 04-19-2014, 02:35 PM. -
