This is what it looks like with either a DVD, or regular channels.

Also, it only stays on for a minute, then powers down by itself.

Bad j016 ipm on ysustain again ? are all the voltages present and good ?

What is the J016? Is that a cheap and easy fix?

I don't have the unit yet......

the j016 is a IPM module. it's rather hard to remove, depending on your skills and equipement, but it can be done in many ways.

google yppd-j016* it'll show you exactly what the module is. it's on the y-sustain board, and it's the cause of a many issues.. could be something else, though.
