Hi,
I am repairing a fsp271-4f01 power supply. I have searched all threads here, and the fspgroup web site has no schematics for this supply.
Does anyone know what the wires do on CNS1? The Orange wire is 5v standby and that is all I have figured out. I need to know how to 'turn on' the power supply. Usually, the standby voltage pin should be connected to the O/F pin, but I do not know which that is. I have tried various combinations, but still only have the 5v standby - nothing else.
I have replaced 3 mosfets (Q3, Q4, QS6), and now I suspect IC3 (IR2184S). I read only 5.2 ohms between pins 4 and 5 - almost a short.
Bridge rectifier, caps, fuse, and all else appears to be good.
There is also a dead short (0.00 ohms) on ICS1 and ICS2 between pins 3 and 5. I can't read what these are, so I can't find a datasheet to determine if thus is normal.
Suggestions?
I really need a schematic and to know what all of the wires do. I emailed FPSGROUP and requested a technical drawing, but there was no reply.
Thank you for your time!
