Re: HAIER HLT10 No video no power won't turn on
Yes you are right. There is no clear indication of copper trace on the board. Do you think this board has any fuse on it?
I hear faint buzzing noise coming from the board while connected to power supply. BUT no LED light .
I am getting 3.32v and 5.56v from this U10 voltage regulator.
should I just go ahead and change all the capacitors? Although there is no sign of bad capacitor.
Obviously the LCD panel working but no LED back light. Even the power RED LED does not even light up unless I connect the battery.Last edited by arman960; 09-30-2012, 09:13 PM.Comment

Re: HAIER HLT10 No video no power won't turn on
I am si sure about the power LED, the thing is that you can see that there are images on the screen so the processor and video processing are working. We just need to find out how the LEDs get its power from. U10 seems OK with typical 3.3V output. By the way, do you get sound?
If you have adjustable power supply with an adjustable current output to about 20mA, then you can try lighting up the LEDs with it.Never stop learning

Re: HAIER HLT10 No video no power won't turn on
yes sound seems like working also. Because when I turn the power on I hear noise from the speaker. But not sure if the sound works or not. I cannot tune any channel.Just the back LED not working. I will supply power to LED panel and see if lights up. There is almost no output from that cable for the LED panel. Close to zero.
There are lot of small voltage regulator on it. All of them seems like working.Last edited by arman960; 09-30-2012, 09:45 PM.Comment

Re: HAIER HLT10 No video no power won't turn on
Just be careful that you must limit the current through the LED to about 20mA for testing.Never stop learning

Re: HAIER HLT10 No video no power won't turn on
It will be more than 5V since typical Vf of White LED is about 3.4V. Since we do not know how many LEDs are in this screen, it can be 4 or more. That is why I suggest the power supply with adjustable current regulator so no matter what the load is, it will always limit the current to 20mA setting.

by PantherDaveHi all!
I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅
I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

by masoksianHi everyone,
I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.
The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.
The system does not turn on, there is no post.
I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
The problem continues in the same way.
I tried to turn on the Fn key, nothing came to the screen.... -
Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by Journey11Hi All,
First time posting here ... my name is Kevin but my friends call me Journey.
I have a Samsung 75" LCD model UN75RU8000FXZA that I don't remember the original fault other than it wouldn't power up anymore.
After it sat for many month's I decide to look at it again. The motherboard seemed to have power regulation issues. After much fussing I decided to just get a new MB.
It came a few days ago and I installed it now just cycles the power relay on and off ... when on the backlights light up and then dim and then relay kicks off and the whole things starts again.... - Loading...
