Re: LG 32LB5600 Won't turn on and no standby light
Installed main board that I bought, the tv came alive. I think this is very common problem for this model.

Re: LG 32LB5600 Won't turn on and no standby light
Thanks for your quick reply and suggestion. I shorted drv-on and pwn-on with 3.3v. Back light came on.
All the voltages were present also. 12v and 24v.
So seems like power board is ok.
Is there any way I can repair the mainboard? any suggestion?...

LG 32LB5600 Won't turn on and no standby light
I need help with fixing my 32 LG LED TV. Model 32LB5600 It wont power on at all. No standby light on bottom front also.
I checked the voltage on the pin on power board output. I get 3.5v at the 2nd , 3r pins from the bottom up. I do not get any other voltage reading.
The BGA chip on the main control board gets very hot.
Can someone tell me if my power board is defective or my main control board shot?...Last edited by arman960; 10-25-2017, 03:20 PM.

Philips 42" TV 42PFL3603D/F7 clicks but won't turn on.
I need little help please. I am working on this TV. When I plug in the power supply it makes a click noise but there is no standby LED light in the front. I checked the voltage output from power board, it's showing only 2.66V and I also get 3V3 ST=3.3V
Now can anybody tell me if the standby voltage is ok or it has to be 5V?
Is my mainboard might be faulty? when hooked up with mainboard I hear click on powerboard and see one led light for one second on mainboard , but than nothing happens.Pushing the power-on button on the panel or remote does nothing. Only the response...Last edited by arman960; 07-25-2014, 06:30 PM.

Re: LG 42LG20-UM Hirizontal line & Solid line
I opened the LCD panel and put some double sided tape on each ribbon connection. This tv used to have half right side panel black problem. Warmup used to fix this dark half screen.
Now after I put those tape on each ribbon, the old issue is not there anymore , now all I get is this horizontal line on the top.

LG 42LG20-UM Hirizontal line & Solid line
I have this tv . When I turn it on , one third screen on the top gets line like picture. After a few minutes warming up the tv, the line becomes solid strap black line. does anybody has any idea what causing this issue? any loose connection or inverter board issue?...

Re: sanyo DP42746 Plasma TV 12 blinks with Y-Sustain Connected
I hear buzzing from x and y sustain. No heat
Buffer heats up.
No blink on power board. All output from power board within specification.
But no light on screen , no video at all. This is strange. Could it be my panel? I don't even see a blink/flash on the panel.

Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 LCD TV No Power Dead
I ordered one IC from digikey.. Lets see what happens when I put it on the board.

what should be the normal resistance if it was good IC? I will order one IC than.

Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 LCD TV No Power Dead
I measured board the GND and pin 7 WITHOUT the ic== result open circuit
But only the IC's GND and pin 7 still showing 3.5 Ohm
does it mean the IC is defective?

Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 LCD TV No Power Dead
ok I just removed the IC and measured the resistance between GND and pin 7 still same 3.5 Ohm. So could be wrong?Last edited by arman960; 10-09-2012, 04:02 PM.

Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 LCD TV No Power Dead
ok removed ZD101 and J7 , took the resistance between GND and 7 still same 3.5 Ohm...

Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 LCD TV No Power Dead
should I just go ahead and remove the whole ic? I am afraid I might break the pin 7 , it is so tiny....

Re: Dynex dx-22ld150a11 LCD TV No Power Dead
Ok removed the J7 jumper and than measured the resistance.
GND and pin 4= open or very high resistance (above 2M Ohm)
GND and 7= 3.5 Ohm...
